The Textilviertel Augsburg is a district of Augsburg city. In former days, it was a craft quarter with weaving mills. Nowadays, it is the home of the State Textile and Industry Museum Augsburg. I visited the museum with the goal to take some photographs of old weaving looms and other tools of the past. Unfortunately, it was forbidden to take photographs. Hence, I made the best of the situation and shot some bracketing series of the buildings. I decided to make black & white picture to capture the “industrial feeling” of the quarter. The HDRs were created with the “Monochrome” setting of Photomatix Pro.
